Advocate BA Aloor has said that he would appear in court to represent Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the actress attack case. Aloor visited Pulsar Suni in Kakkanad jail on Wednesday. Once the court approves Pulsar Suni’s application, Aloor will represent him in further hearings. In February, when Pulsar Suni was arrested, dramatic scenes unfolded at the Aluva first class judicial magistrate court, with two lawyers turning up to represent Pulsar Suni. While E.C. Paulose said Suni had approached him with the petition, a junior advocate of criminal lawyer B.A. Aloor also came forward to represent Suni in the case. Later, Aloor’s junior backed out and Paulose went on to represent Suni in the court. Aloor hogged headlines in Kerala when he represented Soumya murder case convict Govindachamy in the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, the police have been recording Dileep’s statements since afternoon regarding a complaint filed by the actor that he was blackmailed by main accused Pulsar Suni in the actress attack case. Dileep’s friend and director, Nadhirshah, also gave his statements to the police on Wednesday. Dileep had earlier slammed a section of the media for “targeting” him in connection with the harassment of the actress by a gang of men in a moving car in Kochi on February 17.
