Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala finance minister T M Thomas Isaac has said it was up to the central government should take action against the violators of lottery rules enacted by the Centre.
Inaugurating the state-level mobile lottery exhibition to promote Kerala State lotteries here, he said the controversy over other-state lotteries in the state had not provided any solution to the problems in the lottery sector.
The state cabinet would consider reinstating seven-days-a week draw of the state lotteries soon if the government’s appeal in this regard before the Supreme Court got a favourable verdict, he said.
