Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee President Ramesh Chennithala Friday refuted senior party leader K Karunakaran’s charge that his supporters were being ignored in the process of membership enrolment. “KPCC has made foolproof arrangements for enrolment of all those who are interested in joining the party,” Chennithala told reporters on a visit to Lord Ayyappa temple.
Also, this time membership forms were available on KPCC website, he said. In a letter to Chennithala, Karunakaran had thursday complained that those who had returned to the party along with him two years ago were being discriminated against in the enrolment campaign. He had forwarded a copy of the complaint to AICC general secretary Mohsina Kidwai, who is in charge of party affairs in the state.
