Playback singer K.J. Yesudas celebrated his 70th birthday on Sunday at Ernakulam. To mark the occassion he presented 70 spectacles to poor persons.
The function was organised by Divya Karunya Trust at Thoppumpady. First spectacle was handed over to Reena, a 10 year old girl, who lost one of her eyes when she had to face the attack of an anti social element.
Music director M.K Arjunan honoured Yesudas with a ponaada. Before attending this function he spent a short time with his old friends at Thoppumpady St. Sebastian’s school. Yesudas in his speech said, it was always better not to have enmity or hatred to any one in the life.
