THRISSUR: Kerala Congress (Jacob) leader T.M. Jacob has said that there is nothing improper in a reception having been accorded to Kerala Congress (B) leader R. Balakrishna Pillai in Kottarakara.
Mr. Jacob told reporters here on Sunday that Kerala Congress (M) chairman K.M. Mani had violated norms followed in the United Democratic Front (UDF) by declaring that P.J. Joseph, MLA, would be his party’s candidate in Thodupuzha.
“The matter has not been discussed in the UDF. Mr. Mani is a senior leader and such a comment is not expected from him. The issue will be raised in a UDF meeting on February 24,” Mr. Jacob said.
