Mammootty to do a Bavutti again?

After delivering a string of flops last year, Mollywood superstar Mammootty finally made a comeback of sorts with G S Vijayan’s Ranjith-scripted Bavuttiyude Namathil.

As expected, the movie became an instant hit with the audience. Mammootty, who played the title character Bavutti in the movie, was much appreciated for his performance. He handled Malabar dialect much to the delight of his fans.

Now, it seems that filmmakers and Mammootty haven’t had enough of Bavutti. They are so fascinated by the character that they want to bring him alive to the big screen once again. A yet-to-be-titled movie directed by debutant Arun Gopi apparently will have the superstar doing a role akin to the one in Bavuttiyude Namathil.
