Kunchacko Boban is gulfukaran and thaiyyalkkara
We had earlier reported that Kunchacko Boban will play a dual role in debutant Santhosh Viswanathan’s Chirakodinja Kinavukal. The actor plays a tailor as well as an NRI in the movie and will be addressed by the monikers gulfukaran and thaiyyalkkaran. To be precise, he won’t have a name in the film. In fact, none of the characters apart from the female lead will have a screen name.
In the 1996 movie Azhakiya Ravanan, Sreenivasan played an aspiring writer, Ambujakshan, who dreams of making his novel into a movie. Sreenivasan will reprise the role of Ambujakshan in this film. Praveen S, the scriptwriter of the film, says, “Only the female lead played by Rima Kallingal has a name. She is called Sumathi; the rest of the characters in the film will be identified either by their profession or native palce.”
Actors Joy Mathew, Mamukkoya, Sunil Sukhada and Srinda play prominent roles in the film. Every character will reportedly sport a different look. Deepak Dev composes the music and Shankar Mahadevan’s son Siddharth Mahadevan will lend his voice for two songs in the film. The shoot of the spoof film is currently progressing in Alleppey.
