Prithviraj turns family man
After playing cop and thief roles in his latest outings, Prithviraj is gearing up to don the garb of a family man in cinematographer Sujith Vasudev’s directorial venture.
Sujith confirms the news and says, “Most of the time our ego and self-esteem prevent us from enjoying life fully. The protagonist in my story is going through a similar phase, but fortunately, at a certain juncture, he realises his mistakes and embraces the true spirit of life.” The story is penned by the director himself and screenplay is by Dr S Janardhanan.
The director says the movie doesn’t have a preachy kind of a subject. “It has a strong yet simple subject, but it is not at all preachy. Prithviraj will be seen playing a perfect family man and the camera spans through the little pleasures and disappointments in his life,” says Sujith, adding that it is a simple story that people can relate with easily.
The State Award winning cinematographer will start his dream directorial venture only after his prior commitments in Mollywood. “I will start my project only after cranking camera for scriptwriter Sachi’s movie and Nadirshah’s Amar Akbar Antony. Looks like the movie will go on floors sometime in June,” he says.
The director himself will be the cinematographer for the film set in the backdrop of Trivandrum city.
