Sameer Thahir, Dulquer Salmaan team up again
After the stylish flick Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi that urged many youngsters to take out their bikes and go on road trips, cinematographer-filmmaker Sameer Thahir and Dulquer Salmaan are coming together for another film soon.
The project, which is in its initial stages, will start rolling next year.
The director says, “It will be a romantic action thriller, but I wouldn’t call it a movie that can be restricted to a specific genre. We are yet to start the casting or finalise on technicians, and the project will start rolling in 2016.” Neelakasham… which was released in 2013, was the first project for which Dulquer and Sameer came together. However, the director was also part of Dulquer’s multi-starrer film Banglore Days directed by Anjali Menon, in which he wielded the camera.
Dulquer is currently shooting for Martin Prakat’s movie Charlie and of late, he is also speculated to be the hero in Mani Ratnam’s next untitled film.
